Terms and Conditions

1. The rental rate applies for a 24-hour day period. Any delay in returning the scooter without prior notification will incur an additional charge of 25.000 rp. per 4 hours/130.000 rp. per day.
2. The scooter must not be driven outside Lombok Island, nor be operated by anyone other than the renter.
3. An international driving license is required for all foreign renters.
4. The renter shall pay a refundable security deposit of 1,500,000 IDR. The deposit will be returned in full, provided no damage, loss, or breach of this Agreement has occurred.
5. Before use, the renter must inspect the scooter and report any pre-existing damage. The parties will take time-stamped photographs and or video of the scooter together at the start of the rental period and share them via WhatsApp to serve as proof of the scooter’s condition.
6. The renter agrees to assume full responsibility to safeguard the scooter during the rental period and to return it in the same condition as received, reasonable wear and tear excepted. Any damage will be assessed at the Yamaha Authorized Service and Repair Center, and repair costs will be deducted from the deposit.
7. The renter agrees to drive defensively and in accordance with local traffic laws. The renter acknowledges that many road users in Lombok lack insurance and knowledge of traffic rules.
8. The renter agrees that the rented motorbike is not covered by personal injury, damage, theft or third-party liability insurance. The renter accepts full responsibility for any personal injury to themselves or their passenger while using the rented motorbike, as well as for any damage to the motorbike during the rental period, regardless of who or what caused the injury or damage.
9. The renter must plan their journey and account for possible delays, such as because of a cultural event or a flat tire. The owner shall not be responsible for any delays caused by the scooter's inoperability.
10. In the event of an accident, the renter is fully responsible for any damage that the renter causes to third parties.
11. In case of theft of the scooter, the renter agrees to compensate the owner for the current value of the scooter, amounting to 25,000,000 Rp. or 1,200 EUR.
12. If the scooter becomes inoperable, the renter must take it to a local bengkel (repair shop) to identify the issue, and then immediately before repairs discuss the course of action with the owner. If repairs cannot be completed quickly, the owner will provide a replacement scooter.
13. The renter is prohibited from conducting repairs, replacing parts, or modifying the scooter without the owner’s express permission.
14. The owner reserves the right to terminate this agreement immediately, without refund, if the renter violates any terms stated herein, including unsafe driving or unauthorized usage.
15. In case of theft of the scooter, the renter must immediately report the theft to the local police at the location of the theft, and notify the owner without delay and provide a copy of the police report.
16. This Agreement is governed by the laws of Lombok/Indonesia. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively in the district court of Mataram, NTB.
17. In case of breach of this contract the owner reserves the right to take legal action, including submitting the renter’s passport/ID details to local authorities as part of a formal report, and/or to escalate the matter to the renter’s embassy or consulate to ensure the settlement of outstanding liabilities.
